Oberhausen International Short Film Festival Panel Discussion

May 13, 2008

Hey you, yeah you, what you looking at?

I’ve got something I would like you all to see. It’s a discussion panel from the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival. The topic is “Border-Crossers and Trouble-Makers” and it features a host of international critically acclaimed, award-winning poltitcal short film makers and visual artists like Zelimir Zilnik, Martha Rosler and Sherry Milner. The notion of the debate is finding strategies to reclaim the future as a political film maker. The circle of speakers consists of film makers with diverse backgrounds like former socialist countries, Israel or the US of A.

Have a look on the Hobnox Stage.

Oh, and there’s a nice little piece on “Border-Crossers and Trouble-Makers” as well as on the 10th MuVi Award (an award for music videos) from the Oberhausen Short Film Festival coming up on 99stories.com.
